Our Purpose
Founded in 1984, Cisco is a global leader in technologies that power the Internet – optimizing application performance, securing data, transforming IT infrastructure, and connecting businesses and institutions worldwide to help them prepare for the challenges of AI while supporting their sustainability goals. Our purpose is to build an inclusive future for all.
We currently employ nearly 90,000 people in 95 countries, including more than 3,000 across three locations in Poland: Warsaw, Gdańsk, and Kraków. Our Kraków office is Cisco’s largest hub for advanced technical and business services in the EMEA region. Software Engineering, Customer Experience (CX), and Cybersecurity are the strategic growth areas for Cisco in Kraków. Through the acquisition of Splunk, Cisco has expanded its data analytics and security capabilities, further strengthening these strategic directions in Kraków.
We continue to invest in Poland, creating high-quality jobs in business and technology while supporting the country’s digital agenda through the Cisco Country Digital Acceleration program.
Mental Health and Hybrid Work
In response to the pandemic, Cisco adopted a hybrid work model with employee mental health at its core. We don’t impose rigid rules – teams decide independently how best to accomplish their goals, guided by empathy and flexibility.
Cisco in Poland
Cisco has been present in Poland since 1995, when it opened its office in Warsaw.
In 2012, Cisco opened its Global Services Center in Kraków. What began as a greenfield investment has grown into a modern technology campus employing more than 2,500 people, making Cisco Kraków the largest Cisco services center in the EMEA region and the company’s fifth-largest location worldwide.
