What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Web Quality Assurance Analyst?

The ideal Web Quality Assurance Analyst is passionate about process management and improvement, web content detail and accuracy and has a keen eye on supporting business and client goals. Process expertise and a focus on quality to meet client goals are words that describe who you are and what you love to do. You will support critical web publishing processes around the world, including ensuring proper use of systems, tools and implemented processes. You’ll collaborate with other Global Web Digital Marketing team members, as well as local and global marketing stakeholders to ensure high levels of publishing quality to further expand the use and effectiveness of Franklin Templeton’s global websites.

Main responsibilities:

• Partnering with management and business unit leads to create operational plans that support digital marketing strategies and objectives.
• Conduct research to develop a deep understanding of current state web publishing processes
• Provide subject matter expertise on web publishing processes, products, and application capabilities.
• Build and lead the execution of continuous improvement practices for all customer-facing workflows
• Conduct customer surveys and use the results and feedback provided to lead the web publishing process improvement
• Provide effective communication to the business on the web publishing matters. To ensure that information shared is timely, useful and easily understood.
• Actively lead continuous improvement initiatives and processes, with help from cross functional teams, to reduce system downtime, defects, improve customer satisfaction, quality, reduce cost and the web publishing cycle
• Documenting and tracking of continuous improvement cost reductions and quality improvements
• Ensure the web publishing team is properly resourced – document the team’s capacity and its involvement in various digital projects
• Proactively using data, trends and logic to develop valuable and strategic recommendations applicable to the global processes

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?

• 3-5 years web production experience, preferably in the financial services industry
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related fields
• Keen analytical skills, with a detail-oriented approach to analysis and recommendations
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-visibility, fast-paced, fluid environment, managing multiple conflicting priorities
• Excellent teamwork and relationship management skills with a willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
• Demonstrable ability to take ownership and accountability
• Business systems analysis and Lean or Six Sigma Process mapping preferred
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills, with a passion for innovation and pushing boundaries
• A proven track record of quality process improvement
