Treasury Analyst

Miejsce pracy: Poznań

The International Reconciliation – Shareholder department within Treasury Accounting is responsible for reconciling shareholder activity processed by the International Transfer Agency with activity in related bank accounts, resolving exception items and working with business partners to address the root causes. Working with different global departments: Cash Services, Money Movement & Client Reporting, Shareholder Services.

Working hours: 8:30 – 16:45 (15-min break)

Working with us, you will be responsible for:

• Reconciling book and bank transaction data in order to ensure cash and/or transactions are in agreement with system of record and all breaks are resolved in a timely manner.
• Researching, analyzing and ensuring resolution of exception items through communication with internal and external entities in an accurate and timely manner in order to reduce financial exposure to our clients and company.
• Resolving non-routine problems in order to minimize financial and operational risk exposure.
• Supporting Treasury Accounting projects and initiatives, providing feedback and raising concerns.
• Assisting with maintaining up-to-date department procedures.
• Preparing applicable metrics and reporting to internal and external clients.
• Assisting with internal and external audit requests.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Have 1 – 2 years of accounting experience in automated environment.
• Possess knowledge of banking operations, mutual funds or the securities industry.
• Are good at MS Excel; knowledge of VBA would be a plus.
• Are fluent in written and spoken English.
• Are well-organized.
• Have very good research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Are able to look at the issue from wider perspective.
• Are able to work independently and as a part of the team.
• Have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Can work under general supervision following department guidelines and procedures with support from the team
