Tooling Engineer

• Tool cost calculation for plastic, rubber, stamping and aluminum die casting parts and negotiation with suppliers,
• Assessment of tool concepts and tool makers,
• Definition and implementation of an optimized (cost, technology) tool sourcing strategy,
• Collaboration with product development for a tool optimized (cost, technology) design.

• University degree in mechanical engineering (or similar) or tool maker, apprenticeship with experience in at least one of the described tool areas.
• Experience in tool cost calculation,
• Initiative and team worker,
• Controlling aptitude,
• Very good operational English skills (oral & written),
• Flexibility for travel, also international,
• Experience in similar position at least 3 years.
