Video Solutions teams in R&D center in Krakow have been growing dynamically since 2019. Currently, we have more than 130 specialists on board working on solutions for fixed and mobile cameras, video analytics, video management systems as well as access control.

We bring advanced video and analytics capabilities to public safety and commercial customers including healthcare, airports, retail, critical infrastructure and public venues. No longer is video just reactive – looking back at what has taken place – but it also informs proactively, issuing alerts in real-time when a person, object or vehicle appears or a perimeter is crossed. Job Description

The Cracow Video Solutions Firmware team is looking for an experienced test engineer who will be a part of a cross-functional Scrum team working closely with Avigilon Firmware engineers in Krakow and Vancouver on improving the testing environment and testing suites, which includes:

• Develop test scripts using Python to automate functional testing of the device under test (cameras)
• Executing testing scenarios (functional and non-functional)
• Designing and implementing advanced automated Testing Infrastructure
• Preparing testing strategy of currently developed features and regression
• Collaborate closely with firmware developers to reproduce and resolve any issues uncovered in the tests
• Establish a deep understanding of all firmware components and their interactions
• Assist development team with creating automated tests and documenting issues discovered during testing

We are looking for an open-minded, self- driven person willing to pursue their ideas, evaluate alternatives and cooperate.

Basic Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience as an automation test engineer
• Proficient with Python or another scripting language

Optional Qualifications:

• Knowledge of digital imaging/photography and audio/video coding
• Experience with developing or testing embedded systems
