Supervisor – Global Cash Services

Miejsce pracy: Poznań

The primary purpose of TACC GCS North America department is to execute money movements and payments for shareholders activity and fund/custody transactions in various currencies using different banking systems.

GCS is responsible for all incoming and outgoing money wires, performing daily treasury operations for incoming and outgoing cash, processing foreign exchange transactions using various banking applications, investigating payments and settlement inquiries, analyzing inconsistencies and ensuring that all assigned requests are fulfilled timely, accurately and according to internal procedures.

Working with us, you will be responsible for:

Productivity and efficiency

  • Ensure all team’s work is completed timely, accurately and according to procedures.
  • Provide expertise and guidance to staff in resolving problems/issues to ensure timely completion of critical tasks.
  • Maintain, recommend and implement efficient departmental processes and ensure departmental procedures are kept current and an effective control environment ismaintained.
  •  Ensure uninterrupted service to internal clients. Ensure regular feedback is provided to clients on system availability status.
  • Ensure periodic audit reporting is completed in accordance with audit requirements.
  • Work with external and internal auditors to ensure issues are resolved within the funds.
  • Ensure all management reporting is complete, timely and effective given any process or data changes.
  • Monitor the completion of systems maintenance and admin requests. Assign, prioritize and escalate as needed.

Performance standards

  • Manage individual and team performance.
  • Monitor staff performance measurements and provide timely feedback to both staff and management.
  • Staff and workflow planning to ensure proper coverage of daily work for team.
  • Identify training needs and provide adequate training for the staff.
  • Monitor and conduct staff appraisals and ensure timely feedback is provided to the staff.
  • Provide leadership, expertise and functional/technical support in the completion of departmental projects.

Problem solving

  • Ensure timely resolution of issues while taking into consideration impact of issues to other departments and sites and escalate to Manager, as necessary.
  • Investigate complex issues and determine appropriate course of action by partnering with required departments.
  • Represent department on company-wide initiatives or while dealing with external clients when required.

Innovation and creativity

  • Utilize best practices in evaluating new procedures and processes, taking impact to other departments and sites.
  • Analyze and improve departmental workflows, policies and procedures in accordance with global best practices.

Communication

  • Identify and communicate workflow and training deficiencies and develop resulting action plans, etc.
  • Maintain a regular communication medium with business partners to discuss service levels and trends identified.
  • Establish and maintain quality standards for external and internal verbal/written communication.
  • Provides sign off on items that are within supervisor purview as per department internal controls.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have Bachelor’s degree with 4-5 or more years of experience in Business, Accounting Finance, Fund Accounting or Mutual Fund Industry
  • Have 2-3 years of supervisory/leadership experience
  • Possess working knowledge of mutual fund industry (required)
  • Automated workflow management helpful
  • Possess solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Report writing systems and/or query tools
  • Can prepare high-level, complex management reporting
  • Possess strong leadership, analytical and organization skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Have ability to lead others to meet deadlines
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills
  • Are paying strong attention to detail
  • Are flexible throughout all aspects of the individual’s daily work, specifically during disaster recovery periods
  • Possess Project Management skills in a plus
  • Have ability to analyze problems and determine and/or recommend resolutions
  • Have ability to work under very general supervision
  • Have ability to build effective relationships and develop others
  • Are flexible to work in 1PM – 10PM work shift
