Our Team develops and sells Akamais carrier network security products to fixed and mobile network service providers. We specialize in delivering highly scalable network infrastructure and access-based security products to our customers.We collaborate with product groups, external partners to enable our customers to provide high-quality, secure internet and network access to their end-users.

As a Software Development Engineer in Test Senior II Lead, you will be responsible for:

• Taking ownership for testing your products, creating test strategies, and delivering high-quality software solutions
• Leading a small team of engineers, developing a culture of excellence to empower and encourage team growth
• Collaborating with software engineering teams in an Agile environment on code review and product development.
• Participating in design reviews to provide insight and guidance from a quality assurance perspective
• Using software development skills to develop tools, test frameworks and automation of the testing process

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have significant experience in development or testing large scale software systems
• Be well versed in developing test automation in any of the following languages: Python, Java
• Be familiar with Oracle databases and SQL queries
• Have hands-on experience with jUnit/testNG/mockito/hamcrest as well as RestAssured, PostMan or related technologies.
• Demonstrate ability to make work independently and be effective with minimal supervision
