Partner with the best

You will be responsible for testing the performance and functionality of Big Data applications. Collaborating with Engineering Teams you will be testing distributed systems and using automation experience. You will be supporting the system that process and store transactions for the purposes of analytics and reporting.

As a Software Development Engineer in Test Senior, you will be responsible for:

• Developing tests, frameworks and tools to automate cluster level failures as well as component failures.
• Performing full QA cycle for software releases in a fast-pace environment
• Developing a highly efficient, reliable, maintainable and extendable code.
• Analyzing the test failures to find root cause and identify possible solutions
• Improving testing methodologies, procedures and environment
• Developing and enhance automated test suites to improve efficiency

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be experienced with programming in Python
• Demonstrate experience of Linux/Unix system and Bash scripting
• Have experience with GitLab and Jenkins
• Be curious by nature with a desire to constantly learn new technologies (Kubernetes, Spark, Docker)
• Be familiar with REST API interfaces and service-oriented architecture
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of networking and internet protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/HTTPS
• Be experienced in developing automated testing infrastructures
• Show skills in designing with best possible architectures and clean code
