Your Role and Responsibilities

The Service Management Tools team is responsible for the deployment, development and administration of business application ServiceNow used to manage IT infrastructure, streamline work and improve compliance. We are currently looking for ServiceNow Developers to be part of a cutting-edge technology team. In this position, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, upgrading and supporting solutions built on the SNOW platform. Join our Agile team!

Main duties

• Delivering effective and timely solutions to our customers (both internal and external) through the application business rules, client scripts, UI policies and configuration of forms and workflows
• Designing, building, configuring and supporting integrations between ServiceNow and other applications using SOAP/REST and other modern integration techniques
• Resolving users incidents and requests
• Capturing all work efforts in appropriate documentation
• Code deployment/releases through update sets
• Upgrading ServiceNow application two times per year to higher versions
• Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes
• Run workshops and coordinate education sessions for other team members

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in working with IT Service Management tools
• Experience with ServiceNow JavaScript
• Good understand of ITIL processes
• Logical thinking and problem solving
• Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
• At least 2 years of experience as ServiceNow developer and administrator
• At least 2 years of experience in the design, development, implementation, installation, and testing of custom ServiceNow enhancements
• Ability to investigate user problems and needs, identify their source, and outline possible solutions

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Experience in maintaining documents about problems and resolutions for future reference
• Problem solving skills with a desire to take on responsibility
• Practical knowledge about Web Services
• Ability to convert business requirements to scripting logic
• Keeping the development work under good procedures and ServiceNow best practices
