The team you’ll be part of

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobile networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front-runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).
Finance Offer Control evaluates Nokia Mobile Networks Business Group commercial offers, formulates recommendations for business decisions, facilitates alignment across different stakeholders (Business Groups, Customer Sales team) and manages escalations. You will be responsible for assessing offer financials, consolidating Offer P&L and Cash Flow, orchestrating the Offer and Contract Approval and documenting business decisions. You will act as the official validator of the offer, decide on the revenue split method for cross Business Group cases and be responsible for case transfer to Customer Team Controller (for Revenue Recognition Board preparation) and Project Controller (for project execution).

What you will learn and contribute to

As part of our team, you will:

• Assess offer financials and financial risks, provide offer financial parameters, consolidate P&L, calculate Cash Flow and formulate recommendations for business decisions
• Ensure involvement of relevant finance and other experts, facilitate alignment across different stakeholders and manage approval escalation per existing policy
• Orchestrate offer and contract approval providing License To Deal (LtD) gate material, leading gate meetings if any, tracking approval decisions and updating
• LtD database with all finance relevant information
• Act as official Gate4 and Gate5 validator and take responsibility for case transfer to Customer Team Controller (for Revenue Recognition Board preparation) and Project Controller (for project execution)
• For assigned cases Supports the regional Offer Control teams by validating case financials, providing cash flow simulation, interfacing with Customer Team
• Controller for credit limit/ overdue, following up action points

Your skills and experience

• Degree in Finance & Accounting, Economics or Business studies
• Min 3 -5 years experience in finance-related positions, preferably accounting
• Excellence communication and change management skills. Business English command is a must
• Affluence with Microsoft tools such as Excel, SharePoint and PowerBI

It would be nice if you also had:

• Certifications in Finance/Accounting, acquaintance with the technology sector, B2B environment and Contract management
• Ability to work effectively in the cross-organizational and international environments
• Experience with sCRM and SAP
