Your field of responsibility

We are looking for an experienced NetDevOps engineer (AVP) to join our engaged and innovative Network Automation and Tooling Services (NATS) team. NATS has end to end responsibility for all network management tools and automation. Your responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing the existing toolset which is required for monitoring, inventory management, and compliance management of our network services organization as well as developing new tools and applications. We are building up a small and dynamic team based in India and Poland that will collaborate very closely with the wider Network Services teams. You will have the opportunity to work across regions and dive deeper into various technologies.

Your skills and experience

You are able to work independently and in collaboration with Network SMEs as part of a global team. Your key responsibilities are to maintain the existing toolset as well as to focus on automating manual processes and developing new solutions. You have a curious mind-set and are interested to learn and adapt with the ever-changing technologies and requirements in the financial industry.

• Professional education is based on at least a bachelor’s degree or a professional degree in computer technology
• At least 7 years experience with NetDevOps practices and tools
• Strong technical leadership required to drive innovation
• Hands-on experience in Automation
• Strong scripting, programming skills and the understanding of common automation frameworks and strategies
• Proficient in network automation using Ansible, Python, Shell
• Good understanding of programming with C# is a plus
• Experience MySQL knowledge would be a great plus
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix (Setup, maintenance and enhancements)
• Excellent project management skills. Understands the difference between agile, scrum and any other project management tools
• Experience with professional IT system design and development, including agile software engineering principles and documentation
• Ability to manage relationships with stakeholders, translating business requirements to technical solutions and roadmaps
• Experience in finance industry or other highly regulated area would also be a plus
• Fundamental understanding of Networking (OSI model) and experience with Network Technologies and Products
• Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with your team and your peers and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Technologies/systems/Applications we use / Keywords:

Third-party tools: Zabbix, NetBrain, SevOne
Development platforms: Linux/Shell, Ansible/Python, MySQL and Git
Network products: Cisco Routers & Switches, Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 LB’s, Riverbed, Bluecoat Proxies.
