MDM Associate 2 – Senior Data Specialist

Senior Data Analyst will support operations by monitoring and analyzing master data, key data, and master relationship data within the organization. Will also responsible for supervising status reports and performing quality control over work delivered by other associates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist staff in ensuring master data integrity in key systems as well as performing error detection.

Identify areas for data quality improvements and help resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction.

Perform Quality Control reviews.

Ensure quality of master data in key systems, as well as development and documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity.

Provide assistance in resolving data quality issues.

Proactively manage requests and effectively prioritize allocated tasks both individually and within the team.

Cooperate with local AML teams as well as engage with other EMEA State Street sites.

Notify local management of operational issues, proactively suggest and implement solutions to improve process.

Work closely with the business/IT to ensure alignment of master data rules and the operations of the application meet all requirements.

Supervise and review status reports for senior management.

Support line manager with assigned duties and ad hoc requests

REQUIREMENTS

Specific Qualifications / Skills / Knowledge

Very good language skills in English, knowledge of any of the following languages: French, German, Italian, or Dutch would be considered as advantage•

Enquiring mind and ability to investigate and problem solve.

Excellent organizational and administrative skills – ability to keep meticulous records.

Ability to communicate confidently, efficiently and clearly in both written and verbal forms.

Strong time management skills

Flexibility in re-prioritizing tasks

Good Microsoft Excel and Word skills

Ability to perform effectively to strict deadlines.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree – information science, data management, computer science, finance or business related preferred.

Previous data analysis experience required.
