The primary role of the compliance function is to assist senior management in managing effectively the compliance risks faced by Franklin Templeton Investments. Compliance risk is defined broadly as the risk of legal or regulatory sanctions, material financial loss, or loss of reputation a company may suffer as a result of its failure to comply with laws, regulations, rules, related self-regulatory organization standards, and codes of conduct applicable to its activities.

The Senior Compliance Analyst is responsible for assisting senior management and local Compliance to ensure each entity in the EMEA region (on a consolidated basis) adheres to and operates within its specific license requirements, as well as the ongoing regulatory compliance obligations of local regulatory bodies.

This role will include carrying out compliance duties across FTI International under the direction of the Compliance Manager for distribution within EMEA and International distribution. Therefore they are responsible for ensuring across international under the supervision of the Compliance Manager that best practice is achieved for distribution and operational type issues for Franklin Templeton.

The Senior Compliance Analyst will also act as the deputy/back-up for any of the regulatory functions required under any of the Polish companies’ license.

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Hold, as a minimum, a Bachelor degree from a recognized university, with a major in a relevant field e.g. financial services and/or legal studies
• Highly proficient in spoken and written Polish and English languages; any additional languages skills are a plus
• At least 2-3 years professional experience in dealing with regulatory affairs in Poland; alternatively, at least 2-3 years financial services experience with strong skills in another business area (e.g. technology, project management and/or marketing)
• Good understanding of rules and regulations
• Compliance and/or internal audit certification is a plus
• Strong computer literacy skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Solid presentation and communication skills
• Strong relationship management skills
• Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
