Senior Business Analyst – Transfer Pricing Operations

Location: Poznań

Working with us, you will be responsible for:

The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for global inter-unit revenue and expense allocations in accordance with the company’s Transfer Pricing policy. The Senior Business Analyst will be a highly analytical and dynamic member of the Transfer Pricing Operations team interacting with global business personnel within the Franklin Templeton organization.

The Sr. Business Analyst will lead the month-end activities and provide global Business Unit support and engage with Business partners including Corporate Accounting, Technology, Financial Strategies Profitability Group, Financial Business Process and Systems, Global Tax and Transfer Pricing. This includes implementing allocation methodology updates; reviewing the accuracy of allocations; training business partners on the impact of allocations; assisting with efforts to automate inter-unit transactions and providing analytical insight into trends and anomalies.

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business related field
• Minimum 5 years of business and financial analysis experience in a medium to large organization, preferably in the financial services industry
• Knowledge of Accounting principles/standards
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and lookup functions required
• Knowledge of business desktop applications (MS Outlook, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of financial systems
• Experience in business intelligence software such as IBM Cognos a plus
• Proven solid supervisory and leadership experience
• Skilled in building relationships with all levels of business personnel
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and written
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities and deliverables
• Strong analytical skills and ability to clearly present findings and recommendations
• Excellent skills in problem solving, self-motivation, initiative, keen attention to detail and accuracy
