Senior Benefits Consultant
This role will be part of the Global Benefits team, which falls under Global Total Rewards, and will support the development, implementation, communication and administration of employee benefits across Europe. Provides consultative, analytical and project management services for Europe Benefit programs. Partners with Business Unit leadership and HR counterparts to implement and administer Benefit related strategic initiatives and ensure a consistent approach. Proactively reviews, develops, and implements benefit solutions and policies, to support Franklin Templeton’s people and business strategies, ensuring compliance with local legislative or regulatory requirements and/or market practice.
While the position will be located in our office in Poznan, the Sr Benefits Consultant will report to the VP of Benefits in Rancho Cordova and will have Benefits responsibility across Europe.
Working with us, you will be responsible for:
Consulting: Benefit Design, Development, and Renewal
Provides proactive consultation and analysis support for regional benefits
Responsible to review, benchmark, design, and manage benefits across the European region ensuring compliance, market competitiveness and alignment to strategy.
Manage the renewal process with benefits providers
Oversee retirement plans – including managing overall design and governance.
Responsible for complex benefit issues and designing new solutions.
Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on market practice, trends, and benefits intelligence
Oversees regional wellness programs and services
Leads the regional GTR benefits resource, projects and priorities.
Partnership & Vendor Management
Collaborate closely within HR as well as with the FT corporate staff functions, business leaders and local country stakeholders to achieve desired goals
Establish and manage relationships with benefits vendors across Europe; manage vendor relationships and day-to-day activities with external consultants and insurers
Support processes on any regional pension accounting and benefits budgeting; work w/Finance and Payroll on benefits allocation across the region
Governance, Reporting, and Communication
Ensure benefit plans and programs are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Support the strengthening of the benefits governance framework and the scaling of the benefit processes/programs across the region
Develop and update the benefit communication materials
Prepare materials to senior management and other internal/external stakeholders
Prepare and provide relevant analysis and reports as required;
Handle escalated regional benefit inquiries

We are looking for candidates who:
Typically have 5-8 years related experience (ideally in regional benefits work if possible)
Are fluent in English
Are results oriented, analytical, self-motivated and can work independently as well as effectively collaborate in a team
Have experience leading others and ability to successfully deliver in a global, matrix reporting organization.
Possess effective verbal and written communication skills and strong client focus
Have high attention to detail, balanced with the ability to see the “big picture”
Possess strong project management skills and capability to work and analyze data
Can thrive and adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
