Research Analyst – PDS

Product Data Services is a global, dynamic team within a world leading asset manager, responsible for information management solutions and the distribution of consumable product data within the firm, to our clients and to relevant 3rd party business partners and vendors.

Working hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Working with us, you will be responsible for:

• Scheduling, prioritizing and executing scheduled and ad-hoc product data loads, as well as independently interface with and manage source data file deliverables from various internal and external business partners.
• Maintaining and updating data records in Business Managed Database.
• Troubleshoot production issues reported by end users and coordinate with IT & data providers to resolve broken or missing data traffic and services.
• Participating and contributing to internal projects led by senior team members. Provide independent recommendations.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have Bachelor’s Degree – Business Administration (Finance, Economics, Marketing) preferred
• Have 3-5 years job related experience, preferably in the mutual fund or financial services industry (1-2 years of experience with responsibility for managing information and data workflow and database population/design)
• Possess basic knowledge of financial services industry and investment products/concepts
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Expert level in Excel and Access)
• Are exposed to internet-based workflow management tools
• Software/DB applications beneficial. MySQL, PHP (would be a plus)
• Possess sound written and verbal communication skills
• Can work directly with clients and teammates
• Possess strong project management skills, ability to multi-task, and meet firm deadlines
• Can work independently as well as in groups
• Can maintain a professional image
• Possess sound quantitative and analytical skills, with detail-oriented approach to research
