Job Description

• Project manager purchasing M/PPC-ATC in PL for: Management of direct material purchases for customer and change projects
• Purchasing representative in the Product Development Process and cross-functional SE teams
• Responsibility for achievement of quality, cost and delivery targets
• Preparation supplier selection incl. RFQ process, supplier evaluation and communication, participation in sourcing decisions
• Management of cost saving activities for procured parts as member of a cross-functional team
• Change management for procured parts
• Interface to Category and Quality purchasing within Purchasing organization

Qualifications

• University degree in mechanical engineering (or similar)
• Five or more years of experience in project purchasing within the automotive industry
• Experience with plastic & rubber molded, metal formed (stamping, machining, cold-forging) and aluminum casted components
• Result orientation, reliable and team oriented
• Leadership and initiative
• Good skills to efficiently develop a network in a complex organization
• Good operational English (speaking & writing)
• Flexibility for travel also international
• Sound knowledge of MS-Office applications, SAP experience
