Project Associate
Miejsce pracy: Poznań
Franklin Templeton Project Associates contribute to all or specific phases of the project lifecycle primarily under the direction of a more senior Project Manager. May serve as the single point of accountability to plan, direct, and coordinate activities of project phases or assigned projects of limited scope to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished with high quality, within established time frames and budget, and meet customer and/or business needs.
Working with us, you will be responsible for:
Project Management & Project Planning:
- Create project plans and set project objectives
- Assist in preparing cost/benefit analysis
- Manage scope and scope change requests
- Plan and direct schedules and budgets
- Monitor projects from initiation through delivery and monitor for continuous improvement
- Partner with (business/technical) Project Manager to deliver project
- Assist in developing project communications including project education and marketing
- Liaison between vendor(s), Franklin Templeton Technologies “FTT”, and business
- Analyze, interpret, and derive meaning from data
- Assist in developing test plans and participate in testing related tasks
- Assist in identifying and developing contingency plans to mitigate and address risks
- Take responsibility for benefits realization as well as meeting milestone and budget targets
- Develop and execute implementation, change, and transition plans
- Administratively close out projects, conducting post implementation review, benefits review, lessons learned, publishing information, and implementing improvement opportunities
Team Leadership:
- Assist in defining team member roles and expectations
- Share knowledge among team members
- Escalate issues to others with more experience and/or authority when necessary
Manage Partnerships
- Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations
- Negotiate with stakeholders and sponsors to set expectations and build consensus around project objectives
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Have 1-year project management and business analysis experience
- Possess experience writing business requirements
- Possess experience working with multi-month time lines
- Possess experience executing strategic business plans (desirable)
- Have knowledge of MS Project, Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint
- Possess quality management experience (e.g., Six Sigma, Juran, Deming) (desirable)
- Have general understanding of FT products, systems, functions (and Business Units), marketing, and/or service policies and procedures (preferred but not required)
- Possess problem solving and decision-making skills
- Have ability to recognize and communicate potential issues impacting the organization
