Product Content Specialist

The Americas Product Marketing team supports all lines of business (Retail, Institutional and Private Wealth clients) and has responsibility for creating compelling product stories and content that bring to life our product offerings in a way that engages clients to take action to invest – or to remain invested in our products. They act as product champions and product Subject Matter Experts (SME) for the Americas region, with particular focus on local asset management products for the region.

Key responsibilities of the Product Content Specialist include the development, oversight, and maintenance of a specific area of product content–spanning both asset classes and piece types.  S/he will work on a range of projects that support the goal of optimizing the standard suite of products to support the sales process from pre-sale through to servicing including creating and maintaining sales and service presentations, brochures, sales ideas/flyers, product profiles, factsheets, commentaries, topic papers, client reporting, campaign, and product web pages. The Product Content Specialist will collaborate closely with the product SME, product management, portfolio management and the sales team to ensure our materials meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.

Working with us, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting an existing service model to address the spectrum of product content requests from creating new materials or content components to updating existing materials and customizing content for various business needs (with support from other Product Marketing team members)
  • Utilizing strong PowerPoint design skills to help bring product stories and ideas to life, working closely with all product experts, including the portfolio team, to build compelling product presentations for client meetings/presentations.
  • Accountable for creating, maintaining, and continuously improving core suite materials and presentations, including ensuring the content contained within is accurate, timely, well-presented, and conveys a compelling story
  • Ensuring product content on our website is up-to-date and timely including product materials, thought leadership from the investment teams, new product stories, etc.
  • Building positive and productive relationships with key business partners and sales teams to maintain open communication about what’s effective and what’s not working well
  • Actively seeking to drive business results by identifying opportunities to enhance/strengthen our marketing materials and messaging
  • Ensuring that all materials have the proper compliance and regulatory requirements in place
  • Establishing baseline knowledge of various asset classes and product vehicles offered by the firm
  • Tracking metrics around the volume and nature of presentation requests and ensures we are meeting high quality standards in our operations

We are looking for candidates who:

 

  • Have Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with a major in Economics, Business, Marketing or Liberal Arts
  • Have minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing communications or production role
  • Possess strong PowerPoint design skills, as well as overall Microsoft Office Proficiency
  • Possess general knowledge and understanding of various asset classes (equity, fixed income, balanced)
  • Have experience in adhering to schedules, prioritization, project management, attention to detail, organization of materials and cooperating with team members
  • Possess strong English verbal and writing skills; French written skills an asset
  • Are comfortable with a virtual team structure, with team members located in different time zones
  • Have effective interpersonal skills, proficiency at prioritization, with the ability to operate under tight deadlines
  • Are a true team player, translating prior knowledge and experience into strong and productive relationships internally and externally
