Our payroll team looks after the payroll needs of all Cisco countries across EMEA region. The Team manages or directly runs the accurate and timely payments for over 13,000 employees in over 60 countries. This gives professionals in the team a chance to gain significant exposure to the payroll practices in many different countries.

In this role you will be:

• Responsible for End-to-End payroll processing for Poland in an in-house payroll model
• and one market in outsourced to local vendor model
• Preparing payroll input, gathering information required for processing.
• Reviewing and controlling payroll files, payroll checks and controls
• Processing all payroll related journal entries into the general ledger
• Preparing monthly statutory reporting
• Reviewing and controlling process of all payrolls related payments to employees, Tax Authorities and Social Security Office
• Providing advanced Employee support
• Ensuring payroll compliance with local regulations
• Single point of contact for the business partners (i.e. HR, Finance)
• Responsible for Financial Analysis and planning: able to calculate impacts of law changes in term of social security, benefits, tax wages.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 2 years of payroll experience with multi-country support
• Including at least 1+ year of experience in processing Polish Payroll (experience working with “Płatnik” advantageous)
• Professional written and verbal communication skills in English
• Intermediate to advanced level Excel skills including the ability to manipulate data accurately and the ability to create meaningful reports

Good to have / advantageous:

• Experience at turning raw data into meaningful reports for different audiences
• Hands-on experience of data entry and data validation with an ability to carry such tasks out with a high level of discipline and accuracy
• Other European languages (German, Dutch, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, etc.)

Desired Skills

• Experience with ADP GV (SAP payroll), Workday, Oracle
• Payroll qualifications recognized in Poland (in-house model)
• Knowledge of payroll for Switzerland (additional advantage)
• Sense of urgency and ownership; self-motivation to take on new challenges

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
