The team you’ll be part of

The Nokia Test Automation Services team is looking for a highly motivated software developer with a solid foundation in Python coding and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) experience to join the Network Infrastructure Services Network Test Automation team to meet the challenges and growth of Test Automation Services for Nokia Optical products.

What you will learn and contribute to

• The Test Automation developer role encompasses a range of responsibilities in the area of software design, implementation, and testing. The candidate should have extensive experience in Python coding and latest CI/CD tools. Preference is given to candidates who also have experience in modeling and implementing test automation with ROBOT framework.
• The work is collaborative with fellow software engineers and stakeholders in multi-site and multi-time zone team environment. Candidate must demonstrate highly adaptable mindset and accepting of change and priorities. Candidate we seek are by nature team players, actively share knowledge to elevate team capability and be an advocate of the test automation product and solutions. May require travel to customer site to support test automation delivery.

Your skills and experience

You have:

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Passion about Python programming
• Knowledge of computer networks

It would be nice if you also had:

• Experience with Robot
• Experience with Spirent, Linux, and Jenkins
• Strong knowledge of Nokia Optical networks
• Minimum 2 years proficiency on software projects using Python
