Network Engineer (Campus LAN and WLAN)

Tasks:

• Provide software / hardware tests for LAN/ WLAN release according checklist.

• Tasks related with release of networks standard – validate architectures and guidelines;

• Maintain and develop network documentation for network engineers.

• Working together closely in an international virtual team of fellow network engineers to propagate internal standards

• Reproduce problem configurations and installations in laboratory

• Support development of network concepts and hardware portfolio (Task related with release of networks standard like evaluation, sample configurations)

• Manage backend organizational and statistical tasks of network service

Profile: 

• Degree in Computer Science / Electronics Engineering

• Very good English skills, optional German

• Min. 2 year Network experience in LAN, WLAN or WAN environments, Nice to have experience in Cisco and HPE/Aruba products

• Preferably CCNA, ITIL framework know-how, experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash etc.)

• Very good communication and coordination skills (project experience appreciated), analytical and problem solving skills, strong teamwork ability
