We’re currently looking for a qualified Marketing System Analyst to join our team.

The Marketing Systems Analyst (MSA) is responsible for development of new and revised workflows and processes in “Streetlight. Streetlight is workflow system Franklin Templeton’s marketing tech stack with over 700 users globally. The MSA will be part of dedicated team that manages the system and partners with the system vendor Aprimo. MSA will update and improve workflow configurations and partner with the vendor to build new configurations, as required. The dedicated team, which includes the MSA, works with business partners throughout Franklin Templeton including Marketing, Legal and Compliance teams in both US and Internationally to gather requirements, design, build, test and implement enhanced functionalities. In addition to providing workflow for legal/compliance approval, Aprimo’s StreetLight provides the workflows that aid in the maintenance and production of marketing materials.

Daily tasks:

• Analysis, Development, Testing and Implementation:

1. Participate in functional and technical requirements gathering, definition and documentation, partnering with Vendor as needed
2. Build/Develop/Configure solutions
3. Test and Implement solutions
4. Ensure consistency in system configuration and workflow
5. Assess and support integration enhancements between business systems

• Application Environment

1. Support and drive issue resolution with Vendor and Franklin Templeton Technology resources ensuring system issues are addressed in a timely manner
2. Coordinate copy-down activities and regression tests after upgrades

• Application Production

1. Support tool adoption and usage
2. Oversee tool performance
3. Solve and support Marketing System Specialists in handling complex user issues

• Governance and Reporting

1. Create and run reports for business leaders; analyze data and provide improvement suggestions
2. Maintain ongoing enhancement prioritization process
3. Help perform system testing

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have bachelor’s degree or equivalent training
• Have 3-5 years professional experience, preferably in the mutual fund or financial services industry
• Have 3-5 years job specific experience working with Marketing technologies
• Have 3-5 years experience within a Marketing Organization understanding Marketing functions and processes
• Have experience working with databases and data analysis
• Understand and transform a User Story into a functional requirement
• Can help vendor during system development, e.g. provide use cases, flowcharts
• Have experience with system development, workflow design, workflow configuration, business analysis or system analysis
• Have experience supporting applications in a Service as a Software environment
• Possess project management knowledge
• Have excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written
• Are proficient in MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Teams, Slack, JIRA
• Are highly organized, results oriented, schedule driven
• Can work independently or with minimal supervision
• Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills, with detail-oriented approach to research
• Have professional and mature demeanor as there will be interaction with high level management
• Have good knowledge of SQL, UML/BPMN
• Have advanced Excel including VBA, macros
• Are experienced in Agile/Scrum, (PSM, PRINCE2 or other certificate would be an asset)
• Are familiar with workflow automation tools, ex. Aprimo Marketing Suite
• Are familiar with publishing systems including Quark
• Have experience with content management systems including Seismic
