What You Will Do

Main Responsibilities:

• Works for worldwide customers within his/her own team or with other Cisco’s teams to solve problems and enhance future products with senior engineer supervision in the Routing and/or switching area
• Solves reported product and network problems of moderate complexity
• Effectively utilizes databases of existing issues, debugging tools and simple or moderate lab simulations to analyze problems and identify solutions with a high level of customer satisfaction
• Provides basic systems/product training and intellectual property material on routing and/or switching technologies
• Work on shifts (morning and evening in EU time zone)
• Keeps up-to-date with the latest technology products in order to provide a high quality support in current and future types of support services

Who You’ll Work With

Our CMS Foundation Team supports and manages all of our network infrastructure customers. Technologies supported by our team include foundational Router/Switch (LAN/WAN) and security components (like Firewalls and Load Balancers). Our teams provide managed services for many of Cisco’s most important customers across many different industries. Cisco CMS Foundation Team is a dynamic and growing organization looking for knowledgeable and capable individuals to help scale the team as we move forward in a very fast and evolving marketplace. The successful candidate will have a track record and desire to excel at both technical issue resolution and customer management.

Who You Are

Main requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering)
• 2+ years of related experience involving customer exposure element in routing and switching
• Good technical foundation in networking (CCNP equivalent level or above) is required
• Knowledge in other technologies/products, experience and certifications are a plus
• Ability to communicate in English effectively both verbally and in writing; other languages are a plus
• Passion and demonstrated ability to learn and work in a multicultural team environment
• Ability to drive to achieve goals with limited supervision
• Analytical skills
