What you will learn and contribute to

We are looking for a skilled Test Engineer who is inspired to give her/his input to high Quality Nokia portfolio products focused on FN and MN – a specially GSMR. We appreciate open mindset for new challenges, willingness to learn and share learnings. In this hands-on technical role in a dynamic environment, you will be working directly with other test engineers, architects, end customers to provide superior and high-quality tested products and services. You will be primarily responsible for test infrastructure maintenance and development, preparation and execution of tests for Nokia IP/MPLS, Optics, GSMR devices. Work within broad guidelines and use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues. Uses specialist knowledge, analytical skills, judgment and broad conceptual and practical experience to solve complex problems and to contribute to process improvements. Provide working leadership and training to less experienced personnel. Apply and maintain quality standards. Participate in process and tools evolutions and improvements.

Are you passionate about solving problems?
As part of our team, you will:

• Defines test strategy, methodology, test cases and be responsible for bringing up the GSMR, Transmission, Routers nodes involved to set-up the environment required for testing
• Performing functional testing of GSMR systems, including analysis of the data packet flow perform voice or GPRS connections and recording the test cases (videos & logs). Reporting test progress and reporting irregularities in GSMR systems in the JIRA tool. Analysis of the test results in terms of compliance with documentation requirements. Solving software and hardware problems what occurred during testing
• Creating technical documents and training materials
• Participating in Factory Acceptance Test and Integrated Factory Acceptance Test
• Actively uses Nokia EDU as a source for learning solutions for increasing knowledge of Nokia products & processes and increase the quality education, skills and experience

Your skills and experience
You have:

• 1+ years’ experience in creation and maintenance of test environment for IP MPLS, Optical transmission or GSM/GSMR products
• Experience in configuration and test of GSM, GSMR, IP MPLS, Optics products. Including detailed technical knowledge of telecommunication products
• Good command of spoken and written English and Polish

It would be nice if you also had:

• Knowledge of the requirements of ISO/TL/ESD standards
• Experience using JIRA, Wireshark is an advantage
• Experience in configuration and test of GSM, GSMR, IP MPLS, Optics products. Including detailed technical knowledge of telecommunication products
