Job Description
Tasks:

Being responsible for all aspects of project management related to project initiation, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing for small and mid-level projects. Building and managing project team, communicating status to the Project Sponsor, Customer and other key Stakeholders. Ensuring quality control and keeping project within budget throughout project life cycles. Being the caretaker for all issues coming up during project run-time. Managing all aspects of the project in order to reach project success based upon the project goals.
The role will include, but will not be limited to the following:

• Leading Small to mid-size projects for Robert Bosch Operating Units – internal customers
• Understanding the customer’s business requirements and creating the respective project plan to achieve success
• Planning, managing, and controlling project team ensuring successful delivery of key outcomes which includes developing work plans, gathering data, leading analytical efforts, and developing recommendations
• Implementing the strategic directions of the Business Units of Robert Bosch
• Ensuring the scope delivery
• Following Bosch procedures and guidelines for Project Excellence
• Monitoring progress against the plan and initiating necessary corrective action
• Resolving issues and solving problems throughout the project life cycle
• Ensuring timely completion of project deliverables and buy-in of stakeholders
• Providing presentations on status which includes milestone achievement, financials, resources; progress on deliverables, risks
• Leading and motivating project team members on a proactive basis
• Being flexible and open to learn new things
• Being brave to exercise with innovative approaches

Qualifications
Profile:

• Proven experience managing IT projects
• Knowledge of industry best practices for project management, change management and business case development, with the ability to apply best practices
• Proven ability to assimilate information, to apply that information in creative ways, and to synthesize appropriate strategies and responses
• Critical thinking skills, including the capacity to identify and appropriately assess and order competing interests and priorities
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skill
• Ability to identify key issues and to carry forward an idea or project from conception to execution
• Flexibility and openness, to learn new things
• Courage and open-mindedness to try innovative approaches
• Organizational skills and demonstrated capacity to develop and implement practical strategies, plans, and solutions to identified issues and problems
• Working knowledge of English necessary for daily work (German language skills are optional but appreciated)
• Successfully completed university studies
