Your field of responsibility

As an IT Operation Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the project management, documentation processing, scrum processes. Good analytical and communication skills as well as the ability to write the documentation are essential, and they are required in order to perform the regular daily activities.

The Operation Engineer will play an integral within the existing Dev and Ops team. Specifically you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating extensively with peers, Requirement Engineers, Business Analysts and Operations Staff to resolve client issues while actively contributing to a growing knowledge network that improves the effectiveness of our team and the information available to our clients.
• Supporting the project management
• Documentation processing
• Supporting scrum processes for the team

Your skills and experience

We are looking for:

• Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
• Proven experience in corporate industry dealing with issues and their resolution
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (knowledge of tools i.e. Jira)
• Familiarity with ITIL (knowledge of tools i.e. SNOW)
• Experience in Oracle 11g/12c/19c (would be a good asset)
• Experience in data analysis
• SQL skills (interim)
• Familiar with UNIX Shell Scripting (Bash, Ksh) and ability to read and apply modifications would be a good asset
• Ability to learn new languages and technologies
• Strong team-player who enjoys working in a fast-paced atmosphere
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments and projects
• Self-motivated, directed and passionate about what you do
• Good attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
