The main objective of the role is to lead and provide direction for the performance and delivery of the IT issue management activities, which covers all aspects of the issue remediation lifecycle from issue identification and logging, through to action resolution and closure post any reviews required. This includes overseeing, managing and ensuring the implementation and consistent operation of the process to raise and manage IT issues against the IT and infromation security risk taxonomy. The role also includes overseeing and managing the process for identifying systemic IT issues, by guiding the execution of global read-across exercises and delivering consistent IT issue reporting to the relevant governance committees.
You will lead the establishment and running of the IT Issue Governance and Remediation Service within a central IT Risk and Control capability supporting the Head of IT Control Design and Optimization and overall Head of IT Risk and Control, who reports directly to the Head of CTOO Resilience, Governance & Risk and ultimately the Group CTOO. The vision for the newly established capability is to build, embed and sustain the safe, effective and efficient management of IT risk, respond proactively to the changing regulatory and threat landscapes, protecting customers and colleagues, and giving the business confidence to make timely, informed decisions at pace.
