Who we are looking for

The Issue Management Program Office (IMPO) oversees the quality and management of Issues owned by Corporate Compliance (Compliance) and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). The Issue Management Program Office Officer will be responsible for analyzing Issue data, creating management reporting inclusive of key metrics and themes, monitoring and following up with stakeholders on Issue progress and serving as a subject matter expert and resource for Compliance and ERM in the Issue management discipline.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office (in Krakow or Gdansk, Poland) – to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for

As an Officer in the Issue Management Program Office you will

  • Build a strong working knowledge of the firm’s Issue Management Standard and related requirements and technology
  • Educate Issue stakeholders within Compliance and ERM on the application of Issue Management Standard requirements and use of related technology
  • Participate in the tracking of Issues in scope of the IMPO, including progress through the Issue lifecycle and stakeholder-reported status updates
  • Work directly with Issue stakeholders within Compliance and ERM to resolve Issue “red flags” (e.g., missed target dates)
  • Collaborate with Compliance Data Analytics in the production of monthly Issue reporting, ensuring accurate and complete output for distribution to senior leadership in Compliance and ERM
  • In conjunction with the Head of the IMPO, identify and address areas of continuous improvement with respect to the design and execution of the IMPO
  • Assist the Head of the IMPO with management requests or other initiatives, as needed, which may include specialized analysis and reporting of Issue data
  • Build and maintain IMPO operating procedures and ensure appropriate controls are included in IMPO processes, and production of metrics and reporting
  • Execute broader analyses of compliance Issues across the Firm for reporting to the senior management governance committee responsible for overseeing compliance risk
  • Contribute to the development and ongoing maintenance of Issue management training materials and resources
  • Liaise with other Issue management governance and reporting practitioners across the firm to share information and best practice

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4+ years’ work experience with internal control, compliance or audit functions within the financial services sector
  • Candidates with relevant experience in the Issue management discipline are preferred

  • The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with large data sets, and be proficient with data visualization software such as PowerBI and Tableau
