We love designing and implementing large-scale machine learning pipelines. Our technology stack includes Python and Go as well as a wide range of internal tools built on top of Apache Spark, Apache Iceberg, Apache Airflow/Dagster, and PostgreSQL. We are Cloud Native.

What You’ll Do

We do focus on real customer problems trying to find applicable solutions. In order to do so we need to validate multiple hypothesis. That validation requires significant incubation labs where we do experiment, gather and process telemetry in order to draw the conclusions.

We are looking for engineer helping with the lab, you would be responsible for:

• Managing our global SDWAN network (deployed on 5 continents)
• Managing our global NUC deployment (~50 locations where we do ship and manage remotely hardware + software)
• Managing ansible playbooks deploying our services on-prem or in AWS, GCP, Azure
• Managing terraform plans deploying our infrastructure in AWS, GCP, Azure
• Helping with telemetry validation, setting up new services and infrastructure to validate wild ideas and hypothesis
• Our labs are production, everything automated, “as a code”, treated internally as a product with well defined roadmap. Whatever we do we keep very high standards (for both processes and technology).

Who You Are

A passionate engineer with start-up mindset (required).

Ready for becoming a part of the team innovating and challenging networking industry. Agile enough to change technology stack if required, learning fast and innovative (out of the box thinking approach). Challenging status quo, coming up with proposals and ideas.

The following recommended:

• SDWAN experience recommended (Cisco Viptela or similar)
• Ansible, Terraform
• Linux system architecture, KVM, advanced networking
• Very good networking fundamentals (required)
• Master’s degree in Computer Science (or Ph.D) is a plus
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code is a plus
• Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure is a strong plus
• The more Cisco solutions you know the better (we work across many different Cisco products and solutions). Cisco TAC experience is a strong plus.
• DevOps approach: unit and system testing, code reviews, versioning, continuous integration. Not required, but that is DNA of whole team, so it’s a plus.
• Excellent English spoken and written skills (C1/C2 level) is a requirement.
• Team player with flexibility to cooperate with different engineers in a very different role
