Store Shopping Experience Manager

(Our titles may sound mysterious, but in the end it is as straightforward as a Swedish design we love so much. )

• We are simply looking for a person with true Passion for Customers.
• Yes, you need to be able to understand our Customers and their shopping needs,
• Yes, you need to be able to have broad perspective and design amazing shopping experience,
• Yes, you need to be a strong communicator with energy to challenge how we do things to make sure your ideas are visible for Customers every single day.
• But… at the end, Passion for Customers is the most important thing of all.

More to the point – What you will be doing on a daily basis:

• Identifying what we can do better to improve the experience for our customers,
• Actively working within the store team to make these experiences happen on the store level,
• Evaluating impact of our activities on Customers behaviour,
• Collect and deliver best information about our Customers to the Store teams,
• Working on several country-wide projects to make a big difference in Poland,
• Learning… every. single. moment.

4 Key things that will make you successful in this job:

• Holistic thinking – Your job will be part HR, part Sales, part Marketing, part IT, and part Finance. All these parts create Customer Experience and you should understand these parts… and bigger picture they create as this is the only thing Customer cares about.
• Ability to observe the World and courage to learn from it – If you can create breakthrough ideas by yourself – great, but there are also many brilliant things done in many different industries. Look at these things from a different angle, understand it, modify it, apply to IKEA and delight our Customers. Then… Repeat again.
• Great People skills – You will work with great number of brilliant people and it would help if you could build strong relationship with them. We believe that Customer and Employee Experience are strongly connected and to make things happen getting People on board will be essential for you.
• Striving for Excellence – Every element matters and you need to see beauty and potential in the smallest details, but also be organised and ruthless to make sure the idea is executed brilliantly. It’s not solely a strategic/in-the-cloud job – you are here to make a true difference.
