Smart design, adapted to the production, is a cornerstone of IKEA’s business idea. A lot of work is done in close cooperation with suppliers across the world, on the factory floor.
IKEA Purchasing organization forms a link between the factory floor and the products (the range) in IKEA stores. It’s Purchasing responsibility to secure reliable production involving a minimum of waste and a maximum of efficiency. This is the way our Purchasing office in Janki works.

Communication Specialist (Graphic)

Location: Warsaw

Creating a better IKEA Purchasing has the aim to ensure that our way of working enables IKEA to grow and develop according to Growing IKEA Together 2020 and beyond.

We are looking for a creative and motivated Communication Specialist with passion for designing and producing internal communication materials such as web content, news, posters and presentation materials etc., with good business understanding and strong and broad communication skills.

To succeed in this role you need to be a strong writer and have a passion for designing/producing communication materials. You need to be able to analyze complex business challenges and scenarios and develop communication strategy and solution to meet business and receiver needs. We also believe that you have a relevant education and/or experience from working with communication in a business environment. As a person you have a strong drive and a creative and open mindset. You are structured, thorough and capable to work in a complex organization – always with simplicity in mind.

Main responsibilities:

• Be support for Communication Business Partner.
• Work with different channels of communication in IKEA offices located in Warsaw, Prague and Minsk.
• Internal communication tools administration (e.g. intranet, workspace).
• Develop and prepare content for a variety of internal communication materials.
• Coach and support leaders and co-workers in communication.
• Support implementation of new communication solutions within organization.
• Lead, develop and support internal communication projects.

Requirements:

• Good skills in Adobe program.
• Experience in a professional work (minimum 2 years).
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Independence and creativity.
• Exceptional interpersonal and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional writing and editing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point).
• Ability to be flexible and work effectively under pressure.
• Ability to build trustful relations.
• Strong customer focus and ability to work in cross-departmental teams.
• Degree in communication, graphics design or humanities studies will be an additional asset.

The job requires travelling up to 30% of working time.
