GSS Operations Representative

Global Shareholder Services Operations manages and maintains records of individual and corporate investors and resolves client issues regarding holdings.

The person will be responsible for indexing, releasing of outgoing confirmations preparing of adjustment cases with Gain and Loss calculations, as well as Transaction Processing and Quality Control functions in accordance with applicable GSS Ops policies, procedures & governing regulations. Assisting in system testing and process streamlining initiatives.

Working with us, you will be responsible for:

• Perform indexing, releasing of outgoing confirmations, preparing of adjustment cases with Gain and Loss calculations
• Perform all assigned transaction processing, quality control, and associated tasks and ensure that all work is completed in accordance with GSS Ops policies, procedures and governing regulations
• Ensure that all assigned transaction processing and quality control are completed in accordance with the quality standards and turnaround times set by the GSS Ops
• Carry out assigned system testing functions related to the above processes. Participate and provide feedback to business process and procedural realignment projects

We are looking for candidates who:

• Computer literate with experience working in a Windows environment
• Good verbal and written English language skills
• German language skills as an advantage
• Excellent communication skills, persistence and tact
• Ability to work with a team within a global/international environment
• Good with figures
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for details
• Very good organizational skills
• Team player with good interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
• Good problem-solving skills
• Handle internal customers’ inquiries, ability to make decision and work independently.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Typically has 5-8 years related experience (Required)
• Private Equity and Real Estate experience (Required)
• Lux GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS experience (Required)
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (Required)
• Chartered Accountant – ACCA (Preferred)
• Knowledge of Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and MS Project
