Who we are looking for

State Street Global Advisors manages and is a promoter of investment funds in multiple domiciles (Luxembourg, UK, Ireland, France and North America). The Global Funds Management team is responsible for handling all processes related to fund governance; including coordination of board meetings and offering documents (prospectus, KIIDs, KIDs). We also oversee the fund financial statement preparation process and audits thereof.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

Why this role is important to us

You will be responsible for contributing to all Board and committee report related tasks in connection with our Irish, Luxembourg, UK and North American fund ranges.

Your scope of responsibilities will include Board, team and committee reporting ownership, Irish Designated Person support as necessary and coordination/ centralisation of global team engagements in respect of the Funds under management.

You will lead the Board reporting process, engaging with key stakeholders to ensure consistency and harmonization of our Board reports across ranges and jurisdictions.  You will also assist in collation of metrics and data to feed into various committee reports that support our Fund Boards and internal operating units.  You will partner with constituents to develop and maintain a robust annual contract renewal process under US and European directed regulatory regimes. You will act as a liaison to compliance, operations, legal, portfolio management, trading and risk management to effectively report on the nature, extent and quality of the services provided by the adviser.

What you will be responsible for

As Board Reporting and Central Support Hybrid you will:

  • Contributing to strategic planning for your team and help to define the multi-site operating model
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including other business lines and corporate functions
  • Managing annual renewal of advisory and affiliated service provider contracts. This process. requires the investment adviser to a registered investment company to operate pursuant to a written contract with the fund entity
  • Quarterly Board meetings coordination and committee reporting, which includes advanced organizational skills for efficient management of broad spectrum of matters involved in the process. Planning meeting agendas, coordinating wide audience and delivering high quality materials to deadlines for Boards of Directors
  • Collaborate with Relationship Management leads to update and harmonize contract renewal materials as well as coordination of inputs, analysis and creation of Assessment of Value/ Consumer Duty reporting, expanding scope across ranges and jurisdictions as regulatory need dictates
  • Provide Designated Person distribution support as required for various oversight activities
  • Ensure timely execution of all BAU processes with a focus on minimizing enterprise risk
  • Maintaining the highest standards of conduct and integrity within the business and ensuring compliance with industry practice, company policies, statute and regulatory requirements in all matters
  • Leading key projects to improve efficiencies and re-evaluate processes

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) with a financial or analytical discipline preferred
  • 5+ years robust investment management industry experience within Governance/Board Reporting function is desirable
  • Knowledge of European fund regulation (e.g. UCITS V, AIFMD), ETFs and Mutual Funds would be helpful
  • Excel, Powerpoint and Word proficient
