Facility and Project Manager

Bosch Home Comfort Group is a leading European HVAC player with a comprehensive product portfolio and a house of well-known brands. The company is currently expanding its environmentally friendly heat pump business in Europe with new product generations and production capacities. Therefore, Bosch Home Comfort Group is building up a brand new production plant with start-of-the-art industrialization technology in Poland in order to serve the European market together with an existing plant network in Germany, Sweden and Portugal. For this new production location we are searching for experts who take on responsibility to develop and ramp-up this new value stream and plant with us.

The plant will be located in Dobromierz which is close to Wroclaw in South-West Poland. You will have 2 years of onboarding, training and know-how transfer in one of the existing locations of our heat pump plant network before taking over a relevant role in the new plant end of 2025.

For this specific role you will be sent as an expat to Aveiro/Portugal in order to support the industrialization of the first assembly lines and component production workshops.

Tasks:

During the project:

• Responsibility for module deliverables and maturity/quality/time
• Project module team leadership
• Interface between the real estate team and the business unit
• Building specification and necessary infrastructure
• Project and netplan management (coordination of sub projects, decision preparation, risk management)
• Building cost planning and tracking
• Implementation control and approval
• Reporting towards senior management and communication within the organization and outside
• Alignment of the project with smart-work-activities and other activities (e.g. mobility concepts, sustainable production)
• On site management of external providers

After start of production in the new plant:

• Responsibility for the facility management of the site
• Responsibility to build-up the team according to t demand and growth of the plant
• Organization and control of external services and projects
• Application and control of legal requirements

Profile:

• Degree in architecture, industrial or mechanical engineering
• Experience and knowledge: At least 5 years of experience in relevant functions with first leadership or project lead roles, preferrable within RB. Experience in real estate master plan projects and project management.
• Relevant leadership and project management experience
• Communication skills on all relevant levels (team, HC org, senior management)
• Presentation skills appropriate on all levels
• Structured and organized, self-driven character, team- and goal oriented
• Fluent English, Polish language is an asset
