Experienced Python Developer

Challenges:

• Building scalable services in a high traffic environment – from an application, data engines, meta-data from network servers and others
• Crafting distributed backend solutions, mainly data based ones (aggregation, filtering, triggering actions etc.)
• Implementing automation systems
• Optimise the existing ones – including modelling, re-designing and implementation

Requirements:

• Have a nice and passion driven personality
• Working with many teams members so team-work skills are essential; we look for great communication skills
• Practical experience with design patterns and understanding of creating reusable, testable and efficient code
• Knowledge of creating event-driven environments in Python
• Knowledge of Linux environment
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools
• Experience with working efficiently and securely with data storage solutions (e.g. relational and non-relational databases, key-value stores etc.)
• Knowledge of issues related to building distributed services
• Possess relational or document based database design skills
• Experience with building distributed services and understanding of challenges of such environments

• Proven work experience with microservices and containers (e.g. Docker)
• Hands-on experience with data systems like pub-sub messages queues (Kafka is our choice), messages queuing systems (like RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ or others) or search engines (we use full ELK stack)
• Security and data protection experience
• Hands-on experience with microservices and containers (e.g. Docker)
• Practical knowledge of DDD, CQRS and ES
• Knowledge of PHP or Go so you can talk productively with other IT team members
