We represent and enable engineers by delivering modern IDEs, frameworks and tools within an Inner Source end-to-end developer ecosystem that deploys traditional and containerised workloads to public and private clouds. We are scaling a team of highly motivated technologists with knowledge in one or more areas of the software development, deployment and operational lifecycle. As a Engineering Team Lead, you will be driving transformation across Credit Suisse, helping teams leverage modern practices and tools as they adopt a DevOps culture. You will be responsible for helping to propose new ideas, influencing the organisation, identifying new Open Source or commercial tools or developing in-house capabilities that help to create the best possible Developer Experience.

• Managing engineering teams that ship, operate and support highly available, mission critical systems
• Driving priorities, contributing to roadmaps, managing processes, working across initiatives, teams and functions
• Taking software changes from initial requirement to operation and support
• Designing and developing scalable applications and systems (Java, Spring Boot, Angular)
• Integrating Open Source and vendor solutions
• Proven experience with modern version control (Git)
• Proven experience with build automation and package management (Maven, Gradle, NuGet, npm)
• Experience with automated testing (JUnit, Mockito, Selenium)
• Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins Pipelines)
• Experience with Containers and Public Cloud (Docker, OpenShift, Azure)
• An understanding of Linux
