The Global Shared Services (GSS) organisation within DNV GL provides high quality, cost effective services within Human Resources, Finance, IT and Real Estate Management & Procurement. The delivery requirements are based on Global Service Level Agreements between the Business Areas, Group Centre and GSS.

GSS is about bringing a team of professionals together; providing global standard services and competence based advisory services. In Poland, DNV GL has a strong presence with more than 300 employees working within Maritime, Business Assurance, Energy, Software and GSS, with GSS IT delivering services to DNV GL worldwide.

GSS is expanding in Poland by establishing a dedicated Global centre in Gdynia, delivering selected services within HR, Finance, Real Estate Management & Procurement to the wider organisation.

Local Unit & Position Description

The Global Centre HR will deliver high quality HR services to all of our European countries; service scope is services that are location independent and/or can be digitalized. Services are delivered in close collaboration with the network of GSS HR Regional Centres across Europe and our Centres of Competence, together developing the Global Shared Service HR function for DNV GL.

We are seeking Senior Recruiters for our Global Centre HR. The Senior Recruiters will be responsible for supporting Hiring Managers and local HR colleagues on all recruitment activities across Europe.

The Senior Recruiters will report to the Head of Section HR Recruitment. This is a new position based in Gdynia, Poland.

Recruitment is recognised as a professional discipline in DNV GL and delivered as a standardised process by Global Shared Services. Recruiters are trusted advisors to the business and expected to take the lead in creating, managing and driving all recruitment processes together with the hiring managers and be assertive and highly adaptable.

You will develop your understanding of our various business areas and translate their recruitment needs into action. You will be adaptable, customer centric and constantly drive improvements within your area of responsibility.

Key tasks

  • Carry out end-to-end recruitment processes in close cooperation with hiring managers and together with regional HR resources
  • Adhere to agreed policies, procedures and processes designed to drive consistency of approach, reduce costs and improve recruitment capability and effectiveness
  • Identify, create and manage talent pools of candidates as required
  • Support and advise on all recruitment related issues
  • Stay updated on trends and market situation within the area of recruitment, in particular, social media and digitalization

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor`s degree within HR, Business Administration or Organisational Psychology
  • Proven track record within recruitment from a commercially focused, preferably global, organisation
  • Demonstrable end to end recruitment experience gained within an in-house or Agency/RPO organisation
  • Recruitment experience gained within a Shared Services environment would be advantageous
  • Experience with sourcing candidates through full range of attraction and resourcing methods and channels is an advantage
  • Experience of working with Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Experienced in a wide variety of selection techniques including competency based interviews and psychometric assessment tools

Excellent English skills required, both written and verbal
