The Global Shared Services (GSS) organization within DNV GL provides high quality, cost effective services and processes within Human Resources, Finance and IT, based on requirements defined by the business areas and Group. GSS also develops central competence for distinct services, projects and development and will support policy, procedures and system implementation on a global, regional, and local level.

Local Unit & Position Description

GSS is expanding in Poland by building a centre in Gdynia, delivering selected services within HR, Finance, Real Estate Management & Procurement.

We are looking for dedicated employees with strong skill sets, a professional service oriented attitude and team spirit. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of building our new centre and working within an international organization with a globally recognized brand.

Financial Analyst

Key tasks:

• Preparation of monthly management & KPI reports which facilitate global GSS performance management
• Analysis and controls of financial data
• Support of planning and forecasting processes\
• Close cooperation with Global GSS Controlling and regional Management/Controlling
• Master data maintenance (e.g. structures in finance systems/reorg tool)
• Support implementation and effective use of tools and processes (e.g. further improvement of BI tools)
• Coordination and support of improvement initiatives
• Support ERP/Oracle implementation

Position Qualifications

• Strong university degree, e.g. in controlling/finance, business administration, management
• 2-3 years of experience as Financial Analyst or Controller in a multinational company
• Excellent analytical skills
• Very good MS Office skills (especially Excel)
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably Oracle)
• Project and time management skills as well as strong organizational skills
• Strong team player, capable and confident to challenge the status quo and drive for continual improvement
• Fluent in English
• Ability to evaluate problems in order to recommend pragmatic and effective solutions
