Job Description
Tasks:
- Designing, building & running development, release and deployment toolchain
- Contributing to service ramp-up and enhancement
- Testing & evaluating new tool features in close alignment with project team and customers
- Closely collaborating within international IGPM platform team
- Driving industrialization of platform through providing concepts of further automation of deployment, configuration, upgrade and maintenance processes
- Supporting stabilization of platform e.g. through implementation of enhanced monitoring capabilities
- Providing expert product support to other project teams (e.g. root-cause analysis of non-standard issues)
- Investigating future deployment scenarios (e.g. Public Cloud) based on deep technical knowledge of platform architecture
- Technology Stack: Java, Jenkins, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Tomcat, Linux, Groovy/Bash
Qualifications
Profile:
- Experience in working with Java EE, related tools and application/WEB servers – i.e. Maven, Tomcat
- Experience in operating Linux-based solutions, ideally within context of distributed systems
- Experience with automation tools (ideally Jenkins) and at least one scripting language (Groovy, bash, python etc.)
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
- Good understanding of IT concepts, especially related to operations, security, distributed computing and databases
- Profound analytical and problem-solving skills
- Communicative and open mindset for virtual collaboration in internationally distributed team
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related fields
- Fluent English skills
