Customs Specialist

Tasks:

• Organize and supervise imports and exports with support of customs brokers
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation as well as Bosch Central Directive ‘Customs’
• Implement and execute internal controls (customs declaration checks, etc.)
• Verify declarations and invoices against internal accounting data
• Monitor export activities to ensure the export procedure is closed properly and proof of export is available for tax purposes
• Archive customs clearance relevant data and documents (including original preferential documents)
• Support customs audits; ensure all documentation is available for the customs auditors
• Built-up a network with foreign trade contact persons in all Bosch units across Poland

Profile:

• Work experience in similar position of 5 years minimum
• Knowledge in customs processes and customs legislation
• An understanding with regards to classification, customs valuation, and origin
• Ability to communicate at all levels within the company and with external service providers
• Experience in working in a customs environment
• IT skills: SAP (an asset), MS Office
• Languages:
  • preferably Polish native speaker for communication with authorities
  • good written and spoken English language skills for daily communication
