Country Registration Analyst

Global Portfolio Account Services (GPAS) group is responsible for supporting launches of new products and existing portfolios by collaborating with legal and tax experts as well as custodian banks across the globe. GPAS is currently looking for a talented individual interested in joining Country Registration team to provide Portfolio Teams with the ability to invest in securities issued by global financial markets as well as in FT proprietary funds.

This role focuses on managing various projects leading to completion or maintenance of registration as foreign investor in local markets. The Analyst will also gain knowledge and experience with fast changing regulations and requirements established by local financial regulators around the world.

We are looking for candidates who:
Education and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance
• Previous investment industry experience preferred
• Experience in client service, project management or product development

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Fundamental knowledge of the mutual fund industry
• Fluent command of English (is a must)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and quality
• Strong interpersonal and organization skills
• Good facilitation, mediation, negotiation, and persuasion skills
• Demonstrated ability to follow through on work assignments
• Proven ability to take initiative and work under pressure in a dynamic environment • Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
