Cisco’s Customer & Partner Experience Engineering (CPXE) organization is one of our fastest-growing teams, and the CPXE Security team ensures everything we deliver for our customers and partners is designed, delivered and operates with the highest levels of trust.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain capability/technology roadmaps
• Create reusable design patterns to promote speed and consistency
• Serve as design authority for security technologies within our remit
• Participate in security-related design discussions for existing and new services and infrastructure.
• Establish and maintain relationships with engineering teams to provide security awareness / engagement
• Build designs/roadmaps/solutions that use automation and monitoring to implement security policies, detect threats and produce evidence of compliance
• Work closely with other platform/engineering teams to establish extraordinary CI/CD security with SAST/DAST
• Third-Party Vendor security assessment and management
• Provide production problem and incident management support to tackle sophisticated security-related problems
• Support Compliance team with internal/external assessments/audits

Who You’ll Work With

You’ll be part of an innovative security team redefining the way that Cisco protects data stored in the cloud. Our team is passionate about security and applies savvy risk-based thinking to create the best outcomes for our customers.

You’ll work with other teams within CPXE Engineering, such as top skilled cloud operations, application, and platform engineers. You’ll also work closely with other security professionals across Cisco to implement a new way to secure the Cloud.

Who You Are

• You have at least 4 years of Security-focused experience with AWS or GCP
• You have skills with at least one of the coding/scripting languages – Java/Python/Go
• You have previously worked with Jenkins/Circle CI
• You may have one or more security certifications, particularly those with a Cloud focus (CISSP, CCSP, AWS/GCP, etc.).

It will be an advantage if you have design/implementation expertise in one of the following areas:

• AWS or GCP Security
• SAST/DAST
• Threat Modelling in/of cloud environments
• Crypto in cloud environments (most notably, FIPS140-2/3)
• Identity Access Management design/implementation with knowledge of SAML / oAuth
