Investment Management Services (IMS) is one of Middle Office function State Street has centralized in Gdansk. The department consists of different teams: claims, trade management, transitions, client service, oversight, etc. The team provide services to external client

Your new role

As Claims Management Team Manager, Officer your will be:

  • Working with the Investment Management Services Managers
  • Performing oversight, quality control function for the claim management processes
  • Managing team of various level specialists
  • Conducting performance reviews, 1-to-1 and team meetings, workload management, setting KPIs, recruiting new staff and other team management activities
  • Developing effective relationships with internal and external parties
  • Playing key part in performance governance through KPI/KRI management, client relationship management (Service Level reviews)
  • Preparing reports for audit and audit assistance

What we value

Required Skills/ Qualifications:

  • 4 – 6 years of experience in a financial services organization
  • 2 years of team management or team leadership experience is required
  • Good team management, leadership and team working skills
  • Preferred Knowledge of at least one of financial products or settlement methodologies like: FX, Collateral, Repo, Accounting, Equities
  • Client service and solutions driven mind-set, including ability to work with third-party senior management
  • Fluent English – strong verbal and written communication skills
  • PC skills, including MS Office applications Word, Excel, Project and Visio
