AML & Trade Control Analyst

Global Shareholder Services (GSS) Risk & Control Asia/EMEA team, as part of Global Risk and Control department, supports Franklin Templeton international business to ensure compliance with internal policies and all applicable laws and regulations aimed at combating money laundering, terrorist financing and other financial crimes.

We are looking to recruit Analysts for a new team that will be responsible for the ongoing AML/KYC review process (KYC Refresh) to ensure that all Investors and brokers in the register are compliant with all AML policies and procedures/regulatory requirements.

Working with us, you will be responsible for:

• Review KYC documentation of Franklin Templeton’s corporate clients according to the procedure.
• Perform Quality Assurance of reviewed cases (4-eye check).
• Track, prepare and distribute metrics on the progress of the KYC Refresh.
• Report and escalate identified KYC Refresh breaches to Management and recommend solutions.
• Manage daily enquiries on KYC refresh and AML related matters from other business teams.
• Assist in other activities performed by the team, as needed. For example: Collaborate with Global Risk & Control Asia/EMEA team members in Luxembourg, Poznan, Frankfurt and Hyderabad

We are looking for candidates who:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Prior Transfer Agency experience (Operations, Client Service, AML/KYC…) or mutual funds experience is preferred but not a must.
• Eager to join a new team.
• Flexible approach towards office / hybrid / remote work arrangements.
• Strong attention to detail and quality of work.
• Ability to work in an independent and efficient manner.
• Solid written and verbal communication in English.
• Knowledgeable in MS Office tools.
