Who are we looking for?

A professional who will join our team and will be responsible for provision of end-to-end client portfolio analysis services. Additionally, will be responsible for direct support of the Front Office: addressing queries and analysis of client´s portfolio.

Your new role

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

As Alpha Service Team Manager, Officer you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing a team, to ensure that all deliverables are produced and dispatched on time and within Client Service Level Agreements
  • Ensuring cross-training and procedure updates to ensure enough coverage to cover daily business
  • Motivating and developing team members, working on succession plans, cover managers´ admin responsibilities (i.e. holiday management, work time reporting)
  • Ensuring equal and appropriate workload distribution, analyzing Perfect View reports and implementing changes
  • Working as a senior-level subject matter expert on Portfolio Services functions
  • Assisting in gathering and preparing project information by attending and facilitating client and internal meetings
  • Displaying a culture of individual ownership of tasks to embed a clear individual sense of accountability in performing the role, engaging teams as needed to gain consensus
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and internal/external stakeholders to help aid the successful delivery of service
  • Driving review of Operating Models, Service Level Agreements, and Key Performance Indicators
  • Acting as the escalation contact for Client Middle Office Teams on more complex queries/issues/ breaks requiring end-to-end portfolio services support
  • Assisting in the analysis of current/proposed processes and recommend solutions and process improvements
  • Maintaining effective communication with colleagues and management, actively working with other team members (also from different locations) to build team spirit to be able to grow as a global group
  • Adhering to internal procedures and best practices at all times, and ensuring all activities are compliant with corporate standards

Experience & Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accountancy, Banking or Science is nicely seen
  • Experience in the finance industry is preferred: banking, asset management, funds industry as well as accounting or other service areas: at least 5-6 years
  • Team leadership or supervisory experience: at least 1-2 years
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Advanced command of English language
  • Experience in client service considered a plus
